Ingredients

  • 1 175 gram bag Halloween chips I used a bag of Halloween style Cheetos . A fun savoury snack to add to the board.
  • 1 box Ritz crackers
  • 6 clementines
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 6 oz herb cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup black pitted olives
  • 1/3 cup stuffed green olives
  • Candy - For this board I used a variety of different Halloween chocolate and candy. I simply used black licorice, assorted m & m style candy, a mixed bag of Halloween gummy candy and an assorted bag of Halloween chocolates.

Instructions

  • Make the pumpkin clementines - Peel the clementines and flatten them down slightly with your hands. Cut a small piece of celery to make the pumpkin stalk. Push it into the top of each clementine.
  • Make the black olive spiders - Slice open a black olive. You one side for the back of the spider and cut the other half into thin strips to make the legs. Repeat for as many spiders as you would like.
  • Make eyes from the stuffed green olives - Cut open a few of the stuffed green olives to make eyes.
  • Add the cream cheese to a small bowl - Top with a black olive spider and a few herbs of your choice.
  • Arrange the platter - Place the chips in a bowl. Put the olives in two separate bowls. Use the cut olives to make eyes in two of the olive bowls. Arrange the candy and snacks around the board using your own creativity.
