Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 Tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 3 Tablespoons honey
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon paprika
  • 1 Teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 Small hot chili de seeded and finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • 12 wings halved at the joint and sharp points removed

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, vinegar, garlic, honey, brown sugar, paprika, mustard, chili & salt and pepper. Stir well to combine and set aside.
  • Put the chicken wings in a glass baking dish. Pour over marinade, stir well and cover. This can be done an hour ahead or up to overnight.
  • When you are ready to cook your wings, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Bake them in the oven for about 20 minutes, turning halfway through cooking.
  • Over a hot barbecue, cook the wings on each side only long enough to give them a char on the outside as they are pretty much already cooked, 3-4 minutes per side. Spoon over remaining marinade as they cook.
  • Can be served hot or at room temperature.
