Mini Apple & Cinnamon Crumble

Ingredients

  • 6 apples large, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2/3 cup flour plain
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter room temperature
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Have ready 4 ramekin dishes.
  • Toss the apples in the cinnamon and 1 tbsp of the sugar and coat completely.
  • Melt one tablespoon of butter in a medium skillet set over medium heat. Add the apples and give a good stir. Cook between 8 - 10 minutes until they are soft and lightly golden. Remove from heat.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the flour, remaining butter and sugar. Press together with your fingers until you have a fine crumb mixture.
  • Evenly fill the ramekins with apples and top with crumb mixture. Place on a baking tray. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden and apples have cooked all the way through.
  • Remove and let cool 5 minutes before serving.
