Chocolate Chip Blondies

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup flour
  • 1 Cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup butter melted
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Teaspoons vanilla
  • 3/4 Cup chocolate chips
  • 1 Cup cherries fresh, pitted and roughly chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and line an 8 x 8 inch baking tin. Set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar. Mix just until combined. Whisk in the vanilla and the egg. Stir in the flour.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped cherries.
  • Pour into prepared pan and evenly smooth out. Bake for around 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few crumbs.
  • Place on a wire rack to cool. Cut into 16 squares.
