Classic Caprese Salad

I'm pretty sure this the Classic Caprese Salad is my absolute favourite salad of all time. It's simple, basic and good. Not to mention put together in just minutes and you can't go wrong with that.

Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 4 oz mozzarella pearls
  • 1 cup fresh arugula leaves
  • Small handful of fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  • Wash and cut the tomatoes in half and cut the mozzarella pears in half.
  • In a salad bowl, add the arugula leaves and top with the cherry tomatoes, mozzarella pearls and fresh basil leaves.
  • This salad is best dressed with olive oil, white wine vinegar and sea salt. Serve this salad as soon as you dress it.
