You don't need a deep fryer to get these Chicken Wings just right. Put together in no time at all and then baked in the oven for easy clean up, these wings are sure to be a summer hit.

Ingredients
12chicken wingscut in half and tips removed
2tbspolive oil
2tbspsweet paprika
1tspgarlic powder
1tsponion powder
1tspthyme
1tspsalt
1tspblack pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F/190 C. Have ready a large baking tray.
Combine the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Stir to combine
Toss the wings in a large bowl and pour over the marinade. Completely coat all the wings in the marinade.
Place the wings on the baking tray. Bake for 45 - 50 minutes or until cooked through and crispy on the outside.
Serve hot with your favourite dipping sauces.

Notes
NOTE: This is a thick paste like marinade. I find it best to use my hands to completely coat the wings. You could wear disposal gloves if you don't want to get in a mess. Alternatively, you could put them in a zip lock bag with the marinade and give it a good shake around.
Pat the wings dry - before adding the marinade to the chicken wings, make sure to pat them dry with paper towels. This will ensure the marinade sticks on properly.
Flip the wings half way through baking - by flipping the wings you will ensure they are crispy all over.
Make sure the oven is hot - if the temperature is is too low, the wings won't crisp up. So make sure you bake them at the correct temperature.
