Ingredients

  • 8 oz goat cheese log cut into 10 slices
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs fine
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 egg whisked
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  • Cut the goat cheese log into 10 slices.
  • On a large clean plate, combine the bread crumbs with the oregano and garlic powder. Whisk to combine.
  • Dip each slice of cheese in the whisked egg and then coat in bread crumbs. Repeat for all and place on a clean plate.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet set over medium to high heat. Add the cheese, making sure the oil sizzles. Cook for 2 - 3 minutes until golden and then flip over and cook for a further 2 minutes or until golden.
  • Remove from pan and drain quickly on paper towels. Transfer to a serving plate and serve immediately.
