Baked Bacon with Brown Sugar

Ingredients

  • 12 strips bacon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF/190ºC and line a large baking sheet with aluminium foil. Place a baking rack on top of the baking sheet.
  • Lay out all the strips of bacon on the baking sheet and make sure they are not overlapping. Evenly sprinkle the brown sugar over bacon.
  • Place the bacon in the oven with the oven rack set in the middle of the oven. Bake for approximately 20 minutes, rotating the baking sheet half way through baking.
  • Remove from oven and dab with paper towels to remove any excess fat. Can be served immediately or stored for later.
