Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff

This Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff served with noodles makes a great family dinner. Ground beef cooked in a beef broth and cream sauce and then served over wide pasta noodles. Done in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion peeled and finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large skillet set over medium heat, add the olive oil and diced onion. Stir well and cook until soft for about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for a further minute until fragrant.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet and increase the heat to high. Cook down, breaking up the ground beef until it is fully cooked. This will take about 10 minutes.
  • Add the flour to the ground beef and give a really good stir. Add the Worcestershire sauce, beef broth and cream. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low, cover and leave to cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and give a final stir. Garnish with parsley if desired. Recommend serving with wide pasta noodles.
