Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 6 ounces goat cheese crumbled
  • 1/2 cup pecans finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 egg whisked

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F/190 degrees C. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheet and brush over the melted butter.
  • Sprinkle over the crumbled goat cheese and chopped pecans. Make sure to evenly cover the entire sheet. Drizzle over the honey.
  • Firmly roll up the puff pastry, making sure it's firmly holding together as you roll. When it's rolled up, you may need to shape it slightly so it's a symmetrical log shape.
  • Chill for 10 minutes. Remove from the fridge and using a sharp knife, cut into 16 equal parts. Place on a baking tray, evenly spaced apart. Brush with the whisked egg.
  • Bake between 15 - 20 minutes, until golden and puffed up. Remove from oven and serve warm
