These Goat Cheese Pecan Pinwheels are your perfect appetizer for holiday entertaining. Using puff pastry, crumbled goat cheese, pecans and a drizzle of honey for the perfect bite. These can be prepped in advance and baked before serving!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F/190 degrees C. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheet and brush over the melted butter.
Sprinkle over the crumbled goat cheese and chopped pecans. Make sure to evenly cover the entire sheet. Drizzle over the honey.
Firmly roll up the puff pastry, making sure it's firmly holding together as you roll. When it's rolled up, you may need to shape it slightly so it's a symmetrical log shape.
Chill for 10 minutes. Remove from the fridge and using a sharp knife, cut into 16 equal parts. Place on a baking tray, evenly spaced apart. Brush with the whisked egg.
Bake between 15 - 20 minutes, until golden and puffed up. Remove from oven and serve warm
