These Grilled Potatoes in Tin Foil are the perfect barbecue summer side dish. Small diced potatoes, lightly seasoned and cooked in butter over a hot barbecue. They can be prepped in advance and cooked just before serving.

Scrub the potatoes and keep the skin on. Cut the potatoes into about 1 inch or slightly larger pieces. Place the cut potatoes in a colander and rinse really well. Shake off excess water and set aside the potatoes.
In a small bowl, combine the dried oregano, garlic powder, salt and black pepper. Stir to combine and set aside.
Lay out a large sheet of good quality tin foil. Make sure it's long enough so that you can wrap up the potatoes.
Place the potatoes in the centre of the tin foil. Spread them out a little so they are not all piled on top of each other.
Sprinkle over the seasoning and coat the potatoes evenly. Dot the butter around the potatoes. Close up the tin foil and make sure it is securely closed.
Place the foil package on a preheated hot barbecue. Cook total time for about 30 minutes or until golden and soft. Check the potatoes at about 20 minute to make sure they are not sticking or burning. If they are sticking, gently loosen them from the foil.
Remove from barbecue and serve hot.
