The kids will love these Ham and Cheese Pinwheels with Puff Pastry. These little bites only use four ingredients, are put together in about 10 minutes and can even be baked in advance and served at room temperature. Great for lunchboxes with school around the corner!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F/190 degrees C. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheet and lay on a lightly floured surface.
Evenly cover the puff pastry with the cheese slices and top with the ham.
Firmly roll up the puff pastry, making sure it’s firmly holding together as you roll. When it’s rolled up, you may need to shape it slightly so it’s a symmetrical log shape.
Chill for 10 minutes. Remove from the fridge and using a sharp knife, cut into 12 equal parts. Place on a baking tray, evenly spaced apart. Brush with the melted butter.
Bake between 20 - 25 minutes, until golden and puffed up. Remove from oven and serve warm.
