Brighten up dinner with these Honey Dijon Chicken Tenders. Made quick and easy with a flavourful marinade, then cooked on the stovetop in under 10 minutes. Serve them up with some Crispy Oven Fries and dinner is done.
In a small bowl combine the olive oil, honey, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic, parsley, garlic powder, oregano, salt and black pepper. Stir well to combine.
Place the chicken tenders in a bowl and pat dry with paper towels. Pour over half of the marinade and combine well. Cover and place in the fridge for about 15 minutes.
Place a small saucepan on stove over medium heat and add the other half of the marinade. Heat the marinade and bring to a simmer for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Heat a large skillet over high heat and add the butter until it sizzles. Reduce heat to medium and add the chicken tenders. Cook for about 4 minutes and flip over the chicken tenders. Cook for a further 3 - 4 minutes until fully cooked.
Remove chicken from the skillet and transfer to a serving plate. Pour over hot marinade and serve immediately.
