Apple and Brie Crostini

Make this easy and delicious Apple and Brie Crostini for a simple appetizer soon. Crisp pieces of baguette bread topped with soft brie, crisp apples and a drizzle of honey. A great fall party appetizer or even a lunch idea with a seasonal salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette cut into about 14 slices
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 oz brie cheese
  • 2 small apples cut into thin slices
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Small bunch of arugula leaves

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F/180 degrees C. Lay the baguette slices on a large baking tray and drizzle with the two tablespoons of olive oil. Bake in the oven for about 8 – 10 minutes or until crisp. Remove from oven and set aside.
  • Lay the bread slices on a serving platter and top with brie cheese. Next lay one or two slices of apples on top of the brie cheese. Drizzle with honey and top with an arugula leaf.
  • Serve immediately as soon as they have been assembled.
