Make breakfast special this weekend with these Fluffy Buttermilk Waffles. Made with all basic ingredients and cooked in just minutes in your waffle maker. Top with your favourite toppings and you're all set.
Preheat your waffle maker and set aside. Have ready a baking tray with a cooling rack on top. Set aside.
Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk to combine and set aside.
In a small bowl, combine eggs, buttermilk and the melted butter. Whisk to combine.
Add the milk mixture to the dry ingredients and whisk until combined. Be careful not to over mix the batter, it's okay for there to be a few lumps.
Grease the waffle maker with butter. Pour in batter just enough to fill all the holes. Put lid down and cook for about 2-3 minutes or until golden and risen. Remove from waffle maker and place on the cooling rack on top of the baking tray. Repeat for remaining waffles.
Serve with butter and maple syrup.
