Is there such a thing as too easy? Well, I am all for easy when it comes to food. This is a classic case of minimal ingredients, zero skill with great results. Sometimes life gets too busy or hectic to put a three course meal on the table. I say reach for the pasta pot!

And it doesn’t get a whole lot easier than this 5 Ingredient Tagliatelle. Using just pasta, olive oil, parmesan fresh basil and salt! Yes friends, that’s all you need to make this tasty pasta dish.

Notes About The Pasta Dish

Here’s All You Need To Make It
  • Tagliatelle pasta
  • Fresh Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh Basil
  • Olive Oil
  • Sea salt

You literally just cook and drain the pasta and add the remaining ingredients, that’s how easy this dish is. Keep in on the back burner for quick dinners when you don’t have a whole lot of time. You won’t regret it, promise.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Tagliatelle
  • 1/2 Cup parmesan cheese finely grated
  • 4 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 Cloves garlic crushed
  • Small bunch fresh chopped basil

Instructions

  • Cook pasta in boiling water for 8 minutes, Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet set over medium heat, add the pasta, olive oil, garlic, parmesan and garlic. Stir well over medium heat for about a minute. Add fresh basil, give a quick stir and serve.
