Why not whip up some fresh Mojitos this weekend. Made with rum, sparkling water, lime juice, sugar and fresh mint. Perfect for summer!
Admittedly, I’m not much of a cocktail drinker. Now, pass me a bottle of wine and that’s a different story. That being said, a nice cold cocktail on a hot summer’s evening can be a wonderful thing. And if I have to pick a perfect cocktail, it’s got to be the almighty Mojito!
In the recipe below, you’ll see how I made my cocktail refreshing with a bit of a kick. An alcohol kick that is. You can fine tune yours to your taste buds. But what ever you do, don’t skip the mint leaves or lime, those are summer essentials and part of what makes a Mojito so great.
So, the next time you’re reaching for the wine glass, think Mojito for something fresh on a hot day.
And if snacking is you thing to go with the cocktail, be sure to check out the Appetizers section on the blog. You’ll be sure to find something to nibble on while you’re sipping that cocktail.
I hope you like the cocktail and get a chance to enjoy one before summer passes by. Thanks again for reading along and I’ll be back again really soon. Happy cocktail making friends!
