Why not whip of a batch of these Simple Spicy Beef Tacos this weekend. A great casual party food or even a quick mid week dinner for the family.
Everywhere I look on the internet at the moment I see Super Bowl. I have to admit, I don’t know a whole lot about the Super Bowl or football for that matter. I saw one game in my entire life – on TV – and that was way back in the dinosaur era of 1994. Clearly, I am no expert. However, I do know the basics for a good party. Friends, food, drinks & laughs. And that sounds pretty good to me!
These tacos are so easy and would be a great addition to a Super Bowl get together. I made them earlier on today and it took a total of 15 minutes. That was from start to eating. There’s nothing fancy about these, but they sure are tasty. Easy weekend food!

Simple Spicy Beef Tacos
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 4 cloves Garlic crushed
- 2 Teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 Teaspoon onion powder
- 3-4 Teaspoons hot sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2 Tomatoes diced
- Small bunch Iceberg lettuce shredded
- 1 Cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 Cup Greek yogurt
- Small bunch of fresh chopped coriander
- 8 taco shells
Instructions
- In a large skillet set over medium high heat, add the ground beef, garlic, cumin, onion powder, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Stir around the seasoning and start breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon. Continue doing this, getting all seasoning into the meat. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until the beef is cooked throughout. Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish.
- While the beef is cooking, wrap your tacos in aluminum foil and warm them in a preheated 350 degrees F oven for about 10 minutes.
- Lay all your stuff out on a big wooden board and let people dig in. I usually spoon on the beef, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, fresh coriander and top with Greek yogurt. Food made easy!
