Why not dive into these Dark Chocolate Pots for a dessert one evening this week. A no fuss dessert that will be sure to win you over. A sponge cake layer and a chocolate sauce layer for extra goodness.
On to what we have here in front of us.ย Very chocolatey and kind of sweet melt in your mouth dark chocolate pots.ย We served them straight out of the oven on their own, but I think vanilla ice cream would push them over the top.
Notes About The Dark Chocolate Pots
- This is a dessert that needs to be served immediately upon removing from oven. It deflates a few minutes after being removed from the oven. Also, if you leave it too long the sauce will start to set and it won’t be as utterly delicious as it is meant to be.
- However, you can prepare the dry ingredients before hand and have everything ready to go just before baking.
- Great served with whipping cream or ice cream.

Top layer:
