This was lunch for the kids and myself the other day. It really is done in 25 minutes! From start to finish, 25 minutes. I am not lying, stretching the truth or using ingredients already cooked or prepared. Twenty five minutes, really is what it take to prepare and make these easy wraps. I am sure we all know how to put wraps together, and do we really need a recipe for it? Probably not, I know. However, I am choosing to share this as a recipe because there are days when we are all stuck and even the most simplest of things don’t come to mind. Things like these easy wraps.
Notes About The Easy Beef Wraps
- Apart from the spices used in putting together the beef, this recipe only uses cheese, tomatoes and spring onions as topping. So, very few ingredients indeed.
- Sometimes, I like to make my own wraps. You can check out the recipe for those here if you like. I quite often make a huge stack and put them in the freezer.
- If you are going to dive into making your own wraps, keep in mind they do not store well. I never get them to last longer than a day, then they go dry and brittle. However, like stated before, they can be frozen from fresh and left to defrost at room temperature before reheating. If you have never made them, they are very rewarding and quite easy to be honest.
So, go ahead and wrap up dinner in under 30 minutes!

Easy Beef Wraps
Ingredients
- 8 Tortilla wraps
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion finely diced
- 1 Cup cheddar cheese grated
- 2 Spring onions finely chopped
- 2 ripe tomatoes diced
- 1 Tablespoon cumin
- 1 Teaspoon sweet paprika
- 1/2 Teaspoon chili flakes
- 1 Tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/4 Cup water
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Wrap the tortillas in foil and place them in the oven for 15 minutes.
- In a medium skillet set over medium heat, add the olive oil, garlic and onion. Stir and let cook until soft, about 5 minutes. Add the ground beef, stir around really well and it will start to cook quite quickly. Keep separating the meat with a wooden spoon until it is cooked completely, about 10 minutes. Add the cumin, paprika, chilli, salt, pepper, water and tomato paste. Stir really well until combined and remove from heat.
- Lay out the wraps and fill each one with the meat, top with cheese, spring onion and tomato. Ready!
