Hot Wings

You can’t beat a great Hot Wings recipe. This one comes together quickly using a mix of Worcestershire sauce and Tobasco sauce for the heat. These wings are fried crispy, then tossed in the sauce and baked in the oven to finish them off. A great weekend food for entertaining.

Slowly getting back into the normal routine of everyday life around here.  When you return from a month long vacation, things almost seem surreal, hazy and a just a little bit strange.  The haze is slowly lifting and life around here is starting to feel somewhat normal.  Cooking is still moving along really slow and I am hoping that will come back in full swing before too long. I know it has been a quiet summer here on the blog.  Starting today, regular posts will resume and hopefully there will be something to look at, read and possibly even cook.  Thanks for waiting around to see what’s simmering on the back burner!

Hot Wings

Wings aren’t really a thing here in Spain.  Well, you can get them, but they don’t turn up at tapas bars or restaurants.  You will most likely only find them in fast food places and the grocery store counter.  When I was away visiting my family in Newfoundland I was reminded that wings are a big thing!  They are everywhere, with every dipping sauce on planet earth and every level of hotness you would dare to bite into.  I haven’t made wings in ages and ages, so I rustled these up the other day with great success.

Notes About The Hot Wings

These wings are not too hot, but you can easily change the level of hotness to your taste buds.  If I had to give these a chili rating, bit would be maybe one chili on display.  So add more spice if you prefer them hotter.

Note:  In this recipe I used a bottle of hot sauce that I found in the local grocery store.  You can use any kind of hot sauce that you prefer.
