NOTE, The full ingredient list and instructions can be found at the end of the post in the recipe card.
Instructions
- Make marinade – In a medium sized bowl combine the olive oil, rosemary, thyme, oregano, chili flakes, pepper and salt and stir to combine.
- Add feta – Cut the Feta into cubes. Add the Feta to the marinade and stir gently to combine.
- Store – Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Notes about the Feta
- First of all, make sure you buy real Feta! Not the imitation Greek style cheese (as it’s sometimes called), the real stuff. It will be called Feta and will be from Greece. That’s what you’re looking for.
- There is no magic or science to this recipe, it’s just a few herbs and spices together with the cheese. That really is it. It will keep in a jar in the fridge for weeks at a time. Well, unless you have cheese issues like me.
- I love it in a salad like pictured here, but you can eat it however you like.
- Oh, when you store it in the fridge, the olive oil may harden slightly. So before serving, it is best to take it out of the fridge and bring it to room temperature before serving.
