What’s great about this dessert is that it is a great way to finish off any summer dinner. It’s not heavy and can be made quickly and uses seasonal fruit. Let’s take a look!

What Are These Baked Peaches
- Difficulty – This recipe uses only 4 ingredients and is so easy to make. You can prep it before hand and keep it in the fridge before baking.
- Taste – This is a dessert where summer meets fall. By baking summer fresh peaches and mixing them with brown sugar and cinnamon, they have a warming taste.
- Serving – I used 6 large peaches for this recipe and it made 6 servings. Remember, in the recipe card at the end of the post you can easily adjust the serving size.

Ingredients
- Peaches – I used large ripe peaches for this recipe. When choosing peaches, try to get ripe ones. This will ensure they bake really well.
- Butter – Unsalted butter works best. It adds a rich flavour to the baked peaches.
- Brown sugar – The brown sugar really elevates the flavour and adds an extra layer of sweetness. It also helps give the peaches a caramelized flavour.
- Cinnamon – I love the touch of cinnamon flavour added to these summer peaches.

Instructions
- Preheat oven – Preheat oven to 375 degrees F/190 degrees C. Have ready a deep sided casserole dish and set aside.
- Cut peaches – Cut all the peaches in half and remove the stone. Place the peaches in the casserole dish, cut side up.
- Add topping to the peaches – Combine the brown sugar with the cinnamon and whisk to combine. Evenly sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over all the peaches. Dot the butter over the peaches ensuring that all the peaches have a little butter.
- Bake – Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until softened and golden. Remove from oven.
- Serve – Serve hot just as they are or with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

- Choose ripe peaches – Make sure to have ripe peaches for this recipe to ensure perfectly baked and soft peaches as an end result.
- Prep ahead – If you are planning to serve these as an after dinner dessert, keep them prepped in the fridge. Then you can easily bake them off just before serving.

Substitutions
- Peaches – You can use nectarines or plums for this recipe. They are stone fruits and will cook pretty much the same way.
- Brown sugar – The brown sugar can easily be replaced by drizzling honey over the unbaked peaches.

Serving and Storage
- Serving – Serve these up with fresh whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, vanilla Greek yogurt or even Homemade Caramel Sauce! You can even opt to top them with some chopped pistachios or pecans.
- Storage – These are best served fresh, but you can reheat them. Just make sure they are stored in the fridge until you would like to reheat them. Place them on a baking tray and reheat in a preheated 350 degree F/180 degree C oven for about 5 – 8 minutes.
