Breakfast Waffles

You can’t beat a stack of Breakfast Waffles to greet a weekend morning. Made with all basic ingredients and cooked in just minutes in your waffle maker. Top with your favourite toppings for a perfect breakfast.

Breakfast Waffles

Okay, so when it comes to breakfast are you sweet or savoury? I got to say, growing up I was sweet all the way. Pass me anything with sugar before the crack of dawn and I was happy. Years passed, I grew up and found a love for all things savoury. Awe, adulthood!

That being said, I do love all things pancakes, crepes and waffles! I mean they are household names and everyone loves them. And I right or am I right!

And if I have to pick an all time favourite from the three, I’m going with waffles. Well, for today anyway….hahaha! And I don’t mean toaster waffles friends, I mean light and spongy, made with love, homemade waffles. I used to think waffles only came out of a toaster, until I discovered my waffle maker. No more toaster required to get your perfect breakfast waffles

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter melted
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  • Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk to combine and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine eggs, milk and the melted butter. Whisk to combine.
  • Add milk mixture to the dry ingredients and whisk until combine.
  • In a preheated waffle maker, pour batter in until the bottom is completely covered. Put lid down and cook for about 2-3 minutes or until golden and risen. Remove waffle and repeat for further waffles.
