If you’re a regular reader of the blog, you’ll probably understand my love for Cajun Seasoning. From my Grilled Cajun Chicken Salad, to the Cajun Chicken Kebabs, the creamy and delicious Cajun Shrimp Alfredo, there’s no end to how much I love using this homemade spice blend. So the next obvious move was these dry rubbed chicken wings. Here’s why you’ll love them too.
What Makes These Cajun Wings so Great
- Flavour – by using a homemade Cajun Seasoning, you get to control the flavours yourself to ensure freshness and flavour.
- Quick & Easy – These wings are put together in just about 10 minutes and use minimal ingredients.
- Baked not fried – baking the wings results in crispy wings that contain much less fat than deep frying. It’s also hands off and easier clean up.
Ingredients for the Oven Baked Cajun Wings
- Chicken wings – I bought pre cut wings, You could always use whole wings, discard the tips and cut them in half.
- Cajun seasoning – I made a Homemade Cajun Seasoning for this recipe using paprika, salt, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder, oregano, dried chili flakes and dried thyme.
- Olive oil – I used olive oil to grease my baking tray. You can use other vegetable oils if you prefer.
REMEMBER, The full recipe and instructions is always found at the end of the post in the recipe card.
